Setup instructions for Bluemud

What will it take to setup:

  1. install the required applications
  2. compile the components
  3. copy the aliases.conf and bluemud.conf files from the scripts dir
  4. configure the aliases.conf and bluemud.conf to match your system
  5. run -- this will bring up the sample world lib (the Bluemud Tavern)

Then depending on what they want to do with their mud, they can copy the world lib into another directory or modify it in place changing the things they need to change and extending it.
